Blog Post No. 11: Oboe Concerto No. 1
Analiett Presno Rodriguez, virtuoso oboe & english horn player is the first champion of my music. Not only am I indebted to her for this, but also for her being my extremely gifted music producer. She contracts and manages the most wonderful musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
I like to incorporate quotes and paraphrases. I asked her and my managing video producer, the brilliantly creative Chris Erland, for their favorite melodies. See how many you can identify.
Chris whose favorite instrument is piano, is represented in this work by flute (his second favorite) so, in his words he "and Analiett can have call and response."
