The other day, my friendly neighbor said
She said,
Yes, Vance said Trump could be America's Hitler but he took it back. Do you really think Schumer would have been so friendly to Trump when they were seated together if Schumer really thought Trump was Hitler. Trump didn't mean it when he said he'd be a dictator on day one besides it doesn't matter who is president because we have the Supreme Court.
My friendly neighbor said

I'm wondering what she has to say about General Kelly reporting that from his experience working with him. Trump would rule as a fascist dictator.

She did say "It is important that we do not vilify our opponents."

Labeling General Kelly as a low level employee who did not serve our country-- outrageous as it is-- pales in comparison to Trump's demonization of people as "vermin... polluting America's blood... eating your pets... the Chinese virus... banning Muslims... if I lose it will be the fault of the Jews... dead soldiers are suckers and losers... I don't get it--- what was in it for them... January 6 was a day of love."

Trump never said "Hang Mike Pence." He reportedly did say when told Pence was is danger "so what?"
Another pro-trump friend said to, "It sounds like you think Trump never did anything good." I asked him to enlighten me: "Reduced taxes and deregulation." Trump also proudly takes credit for ending Roe vs. Wade.
When I spoke of Harris' specific plans to help the middle class and Trump's concepts of a plan she reiterated that it doesn't matter who is president.
Her candidate has a slightly different view about vilifying opponents: "Joe Biden became mentally impaired. It’s sad, but lying Kamala Harris, honestly, I believe she was born that way."
This from a man who confuses Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi, doesn't know India shares a border with China and does not understand that the tariffs he proposes will harm Americans.
My friendly neighbor says Trump can't use the military or national guard against American citizens. The Supreme Court did not give him permission to put people in jail for little things like not signing and NDA-- well jailing Michael Cohen was an exception. Oh, those 4,000
plus tips to the FBI about Kavanaugh-- well that was a one off Trump couldn't dismantle the checks and balances of democracy.
