Such a Great Life

I Have Such a Great Life, Too Bad I Can't Enjoy It.

Or

"My Tricycle is broken in the Weeds in Back of our House and Dad says "You Want a Bike? Go Fix It... every time I do, he smashes it, Throws it into the Weeds.

It might have to do with having been beaten and abandoned then forced to work as a child prostitute. Duh. Except that's not what happened. I do fantasize about falling in love with a prostitute and having a mutually respectful relationship where we help each other be compassionate with ourselves and each other, pull ourselves up out of the muck, out of the machine.

Back to the machinations of my exaggerated childhood nightmare: I escape. I find work in as a mechanic in a coal mine, a step up emotionally even if it was a step down into the earth.

I learn to laugh at myself.
