The frog and the porno vendor.

Frogs don’t generally look at porn so that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for either of them.

The vendor was convinced if he just kept trying to sell, being pushy, manipulative, wheedling, terrifying, cajoling, reducing his prices, offering greater access... he was convinced that the problem with his lack of sales had to do with his marketing.

Of course he couldn’t see that he was missing the point entirely.

The frog had a different view entirely.

He felt if he could convince the vendor of the intrinsic immorality of what he was doing, he could get the vendor to give up his business. Of course that missed the point too. The vendor had blinders on. He couldn’t see there were other ways to make a living even using many of the same skills he already possessed.

Frog tried Hell Fire and brimstone sermons, learned lectures, pleading for vendor to meditate, pray on his knees, do walking meditations, fast, go on retreats.

Frog and vendor did have one thing in common:

Neither could get past their own point of view.
