The Pope’s Robe

12/1/17

White ermine-like plush cotton, no animals were harmed in making this magnificent coat. It was worn over the clothes because of the cold weather.

No cross was needed because this Pope was Jewish. There were many jewels which were removable from this Pope’s dress, so she could give them to the poor - along with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bottles of water- and on Fridays, bottles of wine- small bottles. Some of the bishops suggested sandwiches of prosciutto and provolone. Others in her cabinet suggested that on Fridays the sandwiches should feature fish and loaves. The Pope found time, made the time to meditate on all this input. She decided that everyone who asked for a sandwich had to also commit to two things: learning to fish and an hour of public service work.

Beth reasoned:

There had been other popes who were Jewish.
