Blog No. 32: Mr. Lieberson, who are you?

Mr. Lieberson, who are you?
Kenny Li Duque, Kenneth Ducore Lieberson... it's beyond my ken.

What do you think you are... a  movie composer?

I've been called worse.

My mom created visual art in an endlessly varied series of styles and media. For years I assumed she was inspired by Picasso.
Now I wonder if the curiosity, the freedom, the generativeness were common elements of the century.

My father always told my mother that her work was good, but just not professional.

Now I wonder.

True she rarely exhibited and never sold anything. Mom created art simply because she was an artist, married to her patron.
